The challenge

Relativ Impact, is an impact solutions provider enabling a global client base to identify, manage and amplify their impact through impact measurement, resource mobilisation, and strategic communications. As an extension to their communications and product strategy, Relativ Impact wanted to create a new channel through which they could share the experience of their partners and clients building their community of impact.  

The challenges included:

• Identifying a channel that would effectively disseminate their expertise and engage their target audience.
• Creating a platform that showcased Relativ's unique positioning in the impact sector.
• Collaborating with specialists and experts to feature their insights and expertise.

The Solution

We combined my love of the podcasting medium, with Relativ’s understanding of their context and unique positioning within the impact sector to co-create a new podcast offering: "The Impact Insiders podcast. My role in this included:

• I initiated a series of Design Thinking-inspired workshops to thoroughly explore the opportunities, risks, requirements, and scope of the podcast initiative. This process laid the foundation for the podcast's roadmap.
• Following the workshops, I formulated a clear episode development process, outlining the steps from idea generation to publication. This process aimed to ensure consistent quality and relevance.
• I established rigorous quality standards to maintain the excellence of each episode, aligning them with Relativ's commitment to delivering high-quality communications.
• As the product and production manager, I took charge of managing the podcast's production process for the first season. This involved organizing interviews, editing, and ensuring episodes were ready for release.
• My role transitioned to facilitating the team's ability to manage the podcast independently, ensuring a seamless handover process.
